You have a great product or service, but you just can’t get consumers attention. This is such a common issue with companies, and we hear about it all the time. Did you know that it can be solved with a simple change in your perspective? Read on to find out how to connect with your dream clients and get them interested in what you offer.
1. Know who your ideal customer is
It may seem basic, but this is an important step that a lot of companies forget. If you don’t know who you’re trying to attract, then how will you know who to reach out to? Start by defining your ideal customer: this can come from a profile of your current customers, or from dream clients that you’re hoping to land.
2. Connect with consumers on their level
Take what you’ve learned in the previous step and learn to speak your ideal customer’s language. Sure, you know everything there is to know about your product or service, but your customer doesn’t! Make sure you aren’t using too much industry jargon and that the content you’re putting out there is actually useful to your clients. Remember: you should be talking about the problem that you will solve for them, not about your product that just so happens to solve a problem. Want to learn more about marketing lingo?
